Sunday, April 02, 2017 – General Conference, Aunna Marie Dobbins, Homer & Debbie Quist

Our beautiful niece, Amanda was 8 months pregnant; she tragically passed away last evening after suffering ruptured uterus. Our precious grand-niece Aunna Marie was taken by c-section and had no pulse. She was revived and is fighting for her life today! The loss of her mother, our precious Amanda Nathan Dobbins has been a tragic and heart wrenching event for the whole family. Thank you for your prayers, your love and support.

The passing of our precious niece, Amanda Nathan Dobbins has been very difficult. Amanda is our niece on both sides of the family. My Brother Ray and I married sisters. Ray’s wife, Debbie is Sis. Johnson’s sister. Therefore Ray & Debbie’s daughter Amanda is our niece on both sides of our family.

This afternoon my brother Homer and wife Debbie arrived from Arizona. On a spur of the moment decision, Homer took a week off from work to come visit us in Nauvoo. We are soooo very happy to have them with us.

It is a “Tender Mercy” to have family with us at this very difficult time. Having them here gives us the support and strength of family we needed. Their visit combined with the wonderful talks of General Conference today reassures us, gives us peace and hope.  Homer and Debbie Quist will be staying with us until Thursday morning. We are so very happy they are here.
