Tuesday, June 13, 2017 – Hot Day, Weeding & Cleaning, Kyle & E. Cantwell, Coleus Haircut

It was another hot day like yesterday. But today we managed to do all of our outdoor work on the grounds in the shade of a tree or a building. That helped us keep a little cooler.

We started weeding at the FLC (Family Living Center) and finished up what we didn’t get done yesterday. The grounds around the FLC, The Cultural Hall and the Scovil Bakery all look much better now. There will always be weeds to pull but this very busy area of Old Nauvoo looks great now.

Today our paths crossed with Elder Kyle Johnson and Elder Cantwell only once. We saw them offloading a trailer full of lumber into one of the storage buildings at the FM compound. They got to work with Elder Hall and Elder Hawkins all day.
