March 11, 2017 – Snow, Bald Eagles, A Spring Symphonic Concert
We had a light dusting of snow overnight. It
wasn’t much but it looked beautiful outside when we woke up. I think our tulip beds in front and behind our
home loved the colder weather.
On our way to go grocery shopping we were driving
south on the river road like we do each Saturday morning. And again, like every
Saturday morning, we saw Bald Eagles. This week we saw five in the trees,
fishing over the water and flying by. They are beautiful and truly magnificent
birds.
Sis. Johnson and I don’t get to get out and attend
many community events. But this afternoon we were able to attend “A Spring
Symphonic Concert” put on by the Nauvoo Community Orchestra. For over an hour we were immersed in
beautiful classical music. It was a real treat.
We didn’t realize it until we got to “A Spring
Symphonic Concert” that two of our co-workers at FM had family members in the
orchestra as well as singing special numbers. It was a great event, we enjoyed
it a lot.
