February 16, 2017 – Letter from Lizzy, Greenhouse #2 Transplanting
Today was another full day of transplanting the
new “Plugs” we received yesterday. There were dozens of boxes and each box held
208 plugs.
We quickly got into a routine; preparing soil,
preparing pots, unpacking the trays, transplanting the plugs, filling the
tables with plants and watering everything.
There were four of us working together; Richard, Adam and Sis. Johnson
& I. Even with all four of us, we still didn’t finish. There are about 800
plugs left to transplant tomorrow.
We received another letter from home. This time the
letter was from our granddaughter Lizzy, who we affectionately refer to as our
“Sunshine Girl.” It was a very nice letter; we love our grandchildren and we appreciate
their love in return.
I really enjoy posting on Face Book and sharing our
mission experiences with all of you. We appreciate all of you that follow us
and “Like” and “comment” on our Face Book posts and pictures.
If any of you would like to follow Sis. Johnson
and I on our Mission Blog, you can click on this link:
If the link doesn’t work, you can copy and paste
it into your browser. We have been so richly blessed as we’ve served her in the
Illinois Nauvoo Mission. The Lord has not only blessed us but also our family
as we’ve accepted the call and are now serving. I hope you feel the spirit of
the Lord as you read about our service in the mission field. Again, thank you
for allowing us to share our mission experiences with you.
