Saturday, November 12, 2016 – Shopping, Hackings, “Rendezvous” Show

Today is our P-day (Preparation Day) So a day for sleeping in, rest and recuperation. It’s nice to have a day off when we can clean the house, do our shopping and then enjoy some free time. I even got to watch a couple football games.

This afternoon Sis. Johnson did have a meeting with Sis. Hacking regarding the huge event they are co-chairs for. Both ladies will be glad when the “Christmas Walk & Tree Lighting” event is over. But they do have everything well in hand. There have only been a few bumps in the road so far but all looks good to go. These ladies are great, they are prepared and organized.

 This evening Sis. Johnson and I attended the production of “Rendezvous in Old Nauvoo” put on by one of the other casts. Sis. Johnson and I attend the show of other casts as often as we can to see and study the part of “George and Agatha” which we’ve been asked to play. We will start rehearsing for the part in earnest once Sis. Johnson is finished with the “Christmas Walk and Tree Lighting” program.
