Tuesday, May 3, 2016 – Mowing at Bushnell, Flowers

It’s Tuesday so I spent the morning at the Bushnell House mowing, edging, weed eating and blowing the sidewalks clean. And, I get to do it all over again on Friday. 

The second reason is the grass clippings, mowing twice a week means less clippings so no grass catchers. The clippings are mulched back into the grass returning nutrients. And, no grass catcher also means the mowing goes twice as fast.

After cleaning the sidewalks this morning, Sis. Johnson worked the rest of the day on the tulip beds again. She trimmed, raked, and hauled away all sorts of litter, trash & dead stems. All of the cleaning necessitated another trip to the dump/burn pile. We got a lot done today.
