Thanks for all
the love and prayers that have been offered for Elder Wayment. We are humbled by all the kindness that has
been shown to us and we know he will have a speedy recovery. We are so grateful
to be serving in the Illinois Nauvoo Mission and thank all our wonderful
missionary friends for their out pouring of love to us. They are just like
family to us and we love them dearly Thanks to our wonderful children,
grandchildren and extended family at home that have been so concerned about us.
We love all of you more than words can express. Please continue your prayers as
they give us strength to endure this accident. Love, Sister Chyrrl Wayment.
For our P-day we took a
drive about 50 miles southeast to Colchester and Macomb Illinois. In the tiny
little town of Colchester they were having a huge “Labor Day Fair and Flea
Market.” We had a lot of fun walking through the town square with all of the
venders, antiques and crafts out on display. Thank goodness we don’t have much
room in our little car on our way home or we would have brought a lot more than
we did!
Next we were off to the home of Shea & Kerri
Trost. Kerri is a volunteer that works with us on the grounds of Nauvoo. She’s
a wonderful help to us and she makes the 50 mile one way trip in to work
whenever she can.
Kerri gave us a
wonderful tour of her “Barn Home.” WOW. . . What a beautiful home she and her
husband, Shea, have made out of two old barns. This home is a “Show Piece” and
could be featured in any home remodeling magazine or home improvement TV show.
Sis. Johnson and I were in Awe!
