Sunday, August 14, 2016 – Sacrament Meeting, Nauvoo 3^rd Ward Bishop

This morning we decided to attend the 12:30pm sacrament meeting of the Nauvoo 3^rd Ward. It was going to be too difficult for all ten of us to shower and be ready by 7:10am. That’s when we have to leave for the 7:50am sacrament meeting the Senior Couples attend. Our two bedroom home is nice but it only has one bathroom with a shower for all ten us to use.  The nice benefit was that we all got to slept in this morning.

At the Nauvoo 3^rd Ward I discovered something interesting. Conducting and presiding at the sacrament meeting was Joseph Smith!  In the Sunday bulletin for the Nauvoo 3^rd was printed: Conducting . . . Bishop L. Joe Smith. Very nice, I never thought I’d get to see Joseph Smith in the flesh. But then again, Joseph Smith is a very common name.
