Thursday, July 21, 2016 – Melissa Gibbs Visit

Today we had another one of those surprise visits by unexpected visitors that we like so much. Sis. Johnson and I had finished our work outside for the day and there was a knock on the door. It was Melissa Gibbs, the niece of our daughter-in-law, Mindy Gibbs Johnson, and four of her friends. 

And a pleasant surprise it was too. We reminisced about her visits to our home many years ago after our son, Daniel married her Aunt Mindy.  Melissa is traveling with her four friends and they just drove across the country straight through from Utah to tour Nauvoo and Carthage. They plan to catch all of the events, sites shows and pageants. It sounds like they will have a very good time. We’re glad they stopped by.
